Cops Cheer NYPD Officer Who Killed Teen Over Marijuana

The cheers of fellow cops for her unarmed son’s killer stung Constance Malcolm as cruelly as the bitter tears in her eyes.

“That’s how they work,” the heartbroken mom said Wednesday after Officer Richard Haste was sprung on $50,000 bail in the Feb. 2 shooting of Ramarley Graham. “You see it every day.”

Malcolm and her husband, Franclot Graham, sobbed throughout the Bronx Criminal Court hearing where Haste softly pleaded innocent on his 31st birthday. The weeping Graham faces Father’s Day without his son.

Yet the assembled cops still applauded their brother in blue, who faces up to 25 years in prison, in a salute that struck the Graham family like a slap in the face.

“It puts salt in the wounds.”

Courthouse protesters infuriated by the Bronx killing offered a vocal counterpoint to the clapping by taunting the four-year NYPD veteran.

“NYPD, KKK, how many kids did you kill today?” the demonstrators chanted at Haste, who appeared in court on crutches after a recent motorcycle accident.

Prosecutor Donald Levin, during the arraignment, said Haste’s decision to fire a single fatal shot into Graham was “neither reasonable or justifiable.”

In the most detailed description yet of the fatal encounter, Levin said Graham and Haste were just a few feet apart inside the cramped second-floor bathroom.

Haste “stood face to face with Ramarley Graham,” his weapon pointed directly at the teen, whose grandmother and 6-year-old brother were nearby, Levin said.

Naturally, the mistakes and corruption of a small collective of people of a large group makes them all evil. I personally do not hold that train of thought but let’s explore that a bit shall we?

Ok, so a group of NYPD did the sick thing of cheering on a killer. That is awful, agreed. So naturally every cop must be bad right? Ok, well a while back two feminists attacked me, calling me evil because I was a man. I didn’t even talk to them..they just started yelling at me. All feminists must be angry and aggressive bitches. A few weeks ago a friend of mine was called homophobic by three gay rights supporters on Facebook simply because he said he was straight and could never date a man. Not once did he attack their beliefs. All gays and gay rights supporters must be prejudiced and close-minded. Oh and what about all the killers and rapists and violent and hateful people out there. I guess that means every human, like you and I, are rapists, killers, and hateful people.

Does that make any sense? No? Well I’ll be damned. Well, help me out here folks! What changed in the train of thought? You get a corrupt person, but not all people are corrupt. You get a corrupt gay, but not all gay rights supporters are corrupt. You get a corrupt feminist, but not all feminists are corrupt.

But you get a corrupt cop, and ALL COPS ARE CORRUPT FUCK THE POLICE!

Get real people.

I’m not saying they are in the right here. But your prejudiced, ignorant, close-minded, and utterly paranoid mind is nothing but an assault on the very equal opportunity thinking you are SO supportive of. Way to represent.

And by the way, next time you are being robbed, raped, attacked, or someone you know is, I’m sure those evil hateful awful gross mean cruel villainous corrupt pig cops will all be there and ready to lay their life down for you without a moment of hesitation and they do not even know you.

By the way, I am training to become a police officer. I’m sorry I’m such an evil person in your eyes now. But give me a call if you ever need help or protection. You may hate me, but I’ll still die for you. And feel free to spit on my bloody corpse after I do, cuz I am just so awful like that.

Oh please, a small collection my ass. On the same week Graham was murdered (Jan 29-Feb 4), the NYPD killed 3 young black men. But I’m sure you will argue that those were isolated incidents not motivated by race and the entire department shouldn’t be judged on a ‘few bad apples’.

Your argument is lazy and pathetic. You’re relating personal disputes with feminists and gays to a black teen being killed by police. Please tell me, how the fuck are they related?

NYC police are notorious for racially profiling young black and latino men. Look at the Stop and Frisk statistics or the drug arrest statistics in NYC. Close to 87 percent of those arrested for marijuana were black or Latino, while only 10 percent were white. This week an officer testified that the department frequently planted drugs on innocent people to meet arrest quotas. He refers to the practice as ‘widespread’.

Muslim neighborhoods in New York and New Jersey, outside of the NYPD jurisdiction, are monitored and infiltrated by the NYPD. Undercover officers are sent to mosques to spy on Muslims during worship. Are you going to blame a ‘small collective’?

A young black man was shot at point blank range because of the unregulated  corruption and racial bias in NYPD and you feel the need to put your two cents in. Fuck off and get a damn clue.

The power given to police corrupts them, they laws do not apply to them. This cop was released on $50,000 bond after killing an unarmed teen, putting a gun to the landlady’s head while she was wrapped with only a towel and changing his story after a video proved he lied about Graham running to his apartment. Yet possessing marijuana will serve you a night in jail.

I think your savior complex is clouding your judgement.
